Down under comes up Top
Well I suppose it had to happen, what with the new bar having an Australian owner but calling it after a New Zealand bird, that they would seek to give it a bit of "real" New Zealand flavour.
So what do you think the chances are of finding a New Zealand person, but with a European Passport, and who wants to work in a bar in Riga ?? If you had asked me pretty low - but what do I know !!!
So after spending only eight days staying in London after arriving from NZ, then finding a job advert as defined above - may I present Riga's newest bar person - H..... ( New Zealand, Irish passport - Scottish christian name) and a real Kiwi !
Anyhow to any of you planning a visit to Riga - the weather is C..p - overcast and chilly, and to think it is only 42 days to mid summer, and then it is all downhill to winter -spooky huh !

Hi Dave, just before we left there was also another bar opened called The Cinema Bar, just thought we would let you know incase you have not tried it yet. All the best to you all in Riga. Bob & Pauline.
